  • Introduction

    The special issue “Drug research: current insights for search, development and analysis” is devoted to modern research in the development of natural and synthetic drugs, including synthesis, extraction of natural compounds, analysis, drug technology and modified-release dosage forms, the working out and validation of quality control methods for individual substances, plant extracts and food supplements, the results of preclinical, microbiological and pharmacological studies of promising substances in vivo and in vitro, as well as chemical research in the field of bioinorganic and coordination chemistry, metal complexes of biologically active ligands.
    Original research papers, short communications, as well as review articles in all areas of Pharmacy, Plant Science, Chemistry, Pharmacology, related to drug research, are solicited.

    Aims and Scope:

    1. Pharmacognostic research of medicinal plant materials
    2. Plant science: biology, resources, ecology, forestry
    3. Pharmacological study of drugs of natural and synthetic origin
    4. Drug design, development and technology
    5. Modified-release dosage forms
    6. Synthesis and analysis of new substances
    7. Characterization of metal complexes using modern methods
    8. Pharmaceutical and analytical chemistry
    9. Biochemistry

  • Guidelines for Submission

    Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

    Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.ijphmchem.org/submission). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.
